Félicitations à l’équipe internationale pilotée par Antonio Gonzalez Quintana qui travaille depuis plus de 15 ans sur l’importance des archives pour la documentation des violations des droits de l’Homme, le combat pour la transparence démocratique et la lutte contre la corruption.
The Association for Human Rights of Spain has just published the list of winners of the « Human Rights 2020 » awards in its national, international and communication categories.
The Archives and Human Rights Section of the International Council on Archives has been recognized by the jury of the event, to which the most voted candidates were submitted, as the entity worthy of the award in the International category.
The award has no financial endowment, only a small statue and an accrediting diploma. However, in the ICA-SAHR Executive Committee we are very happy with this modest but important award, which has been awarded since 1982, and which has great prestige in Spain and Latin America.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Cervantes Institute, next Thursday 26 November, in the evening, in an event with very limited capacity, given the circumstances arising from the Covid 19 pandemic.

La Asociación Pro Derechos humanos de España acaba de hacer pública la relación de ganadores de los premios « Derechos Humanos 2020 » en sus categorías nacional, internacional y comunicación.
La Sección de Archivos y Derechos Humanos del Consejo Internacional de Archivos ha sido reconocida por el jurado del evento, al que fueron sometidas las candidaturas más votadas, como la entidad merecedora del premio en la categoría Internacional.
El premio no tiene dotación económica, solo una pequeña estatua y un diploma acreditativo. Sin embargo, en el Comité Ejecutivo de ICA-SAHR estamos muy contentos con este modesto pero importante premio, que se entrega desde el año 1982, y que tiene un gran prestigio en España y en América Latina.
La entrega de premios se celebrará en el Instituto Cervantes, el próximo jueves, 26 de noviembre, en un acto con aforo muy limitado, dadas las circunstancias derivadas de la pandemia de Covid 19.
